The Care Network concentrates on prayers, card ministry, crocheted prayer shawls, crocheted blankets for our newborns and visiting the elderly and playing Bingo with the residents of Licking Residential on the last Wednesday of the Month at 2 PM.  If you would like to join the Care Network, please contact Jean Freeze.

The garden is located behind the Licking United Methodist Church on Green St.  Anyone and everyone is welcome to help themselves to anything in the garden.

The FARMERS MARKET is over for this year.  We appreciate all the vendors and customers that come faithfully each week.  If you’d like to participate as a vendor, contact the church office.  The Licking Farmers Market is on Wednesdays and Saturdays, 8 AM – 12 PM.  The Farmers Market will start up again next Spring.

During the school year, we have a free monthly meal on the last Wednesday of the month (earlier when there is a holiday) for our community.  Everyone is welcome to attend and enjoy a delicious prepared meal with “no preaching, no pressure, just good food and community fellowship. Come one – Come all!”   The next Free Community Meal for the 2017/2018 school year will be on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018 at the Licking UMC’s Fellowship Hall.  208 Main St. – 5 PM – 6:30 PM.  EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

We here at the Licking United Methodist Church regularly support different missions.  Right now we support Mocimboa da Praia UMC in Mozambique, Africa.  We have a monthly offering for them to help support them.  This helps them in many ways, from building supplies/maintenance to pastor’s expenses to orphanages and women’s shelters in the area.  Check out their Facebook page.  Mozambique Facebook page

We also support the mission work of B.J. and Rachel Whitaker.  The Whitakers are church planting missionaries serving in Alcora, Spain.  B.J. is the son of members in our congregation.
